2025 Update
Things seem pretty settled after years of evolution in Ibiza. The 2010’s has the island moving away from a laid back hippy style .. there’s now simply too much money on the island and Santa Eulalia is supposedly the most expensive area in Spain. We had the covid years when the island tourism shutdown but its reasonably back to normal now. Before and after covid we had change of ownership of Marsol.
Next to us the 5* W-ibiza, Chiringuito Blue, nope the Pecador, no the yellow fin beach blah blah restaurant and the Riomar are all up and running after being bought and redeveloped. The Marsol apartment hotel has been running year-round the past couple of years and the owners have been great. Marsol (where our apartments are) is in good condition, its well looked after and the front desk is friendly and helpful. The building had a refurbish and paint earlier this year, and the restaurant in front is a sunbed thingy as part of the W. We are doing a minor refurb of one of the apartments.
My mountain bike has had a big refurb after 10 years and my Moto is Spanish and legal.
